Varg Veum: Sleeping Beauty | Tofflan - a tragic comedy
At last there will be some momentum on "The Wolf"! Saturday evening's film, Varg Veum: Sleeping Beauty (2008) on TV4 Plus had so much more energy and speed than the film of the same Norwegian detective last week!
This time Varg Veum commissioned to find a young girl who ran away from home with her boyfriend and also neighbor. Varg Veum finds the girl, but when he finally finds her boyfriend, he is murdered. He dives deep into a world of drugs, debts and collectors, but also old family secrets.
A lot of nasty scenes are in this movie. Some so nasty that I actually have to turn away. But the story of the movie feels credible and timely and reality, as we know, can be quite cruel sometimes. This is really good Norwegian crimi-movie! Not honors, but the next highest. I think Dara ... Now I look even more forward to the remaining four films to be shown to come!

A now quite thick (Auntie) propaganda minister who has seen better years. Biting and mean and tough on the harshness, but gentle as a lamb to the please. Anna loves her boundless, copiously, outrageously, but without a doubt.
