# 1 & # 2: Do not understand what you mean by it. Miyazaki's films can be seen and enjoyed regardless of age.
It is indeed a film with a clear target in sight, but it is also in the degree to which a Hayao Miyazaki movie. There is so much life on the canvas, you can not avoid being infected with the joy of life and energy.
Mr. gaijin
# 12 A little lighter than Totoro. Totoro has a darker background with an ill mother. Ponyo also has a dark side with overtones of environmental disasters, but the elements unfolds on a more adventurous, abstract level than the personal level in "Totoro".
"Ponyo" is a film that basically can be understood by five. There are lots of childish humor in it. Especially in the Ponyo-grade. Imagine Mei from Totoro with magical powers.
It's impressive how Miyazaki can show the world as a 5-year-old sees it. Lots of movement, mystery and fun. I have found a few childish sides of myself that I had forgotten existed :)
Seems good enough it's a really tame trailer that gives a touch of a really tame film. But since I like all his other films, and in light of Mr. gaijins not completely crushing input, should it be acquired as soon as possible. Meeeeeen disney canada expectations are probably not screwed particularly high.
# 13: Thanks for the detailed answer! Now I am even more. :)
# 14: I can not see how the trailer should give expression to a really tame film. Especially not if you like all his other films. Do not understand what you mean by "tame". It contains as lots of Miyazaki's characteristics. But fair enough. disney canada How are we are so different. :)
Well ... hard to say really. disney canada Seemed just not there was something that made me happy at all. The trailer expresses an overly child-friendly disney canada film. Which I think is lame from his hand. Would rather see him do something like Nausicaa and Mononoke sparkles with good ideas. I'd rather see him make cities in the clouds, etc. than small fish in the water and ugly chicks:-)
