After seeing other amazing Miyazaki movies, and read the incredible good review on this, so expectations were high. But besides a sweet and touching film, so there was not much to be gained here. Not on par with The Living Castle or Chihiro.
he's doing the same thing over and over again BORING!
Miyazaki has done it again! The film is both sweet, exciting and magical. I do not understand, he can continue to concoct such fantastic universes which in some way resemble each other and yet each is wildly original. You should definitely see this lovely 2D movies!
I love the film by Studio Ghibli comes with - there's something about them, like so many other cartoons missing, and immediately I will call it originality. And "Ponyo" is no exception.
